SYTECH, the UK’s longest-established digital forensics consultancy service provider, has launched a landmark recruitment drive, creating high-aspirational careers and improving social mobility.

The Stoke-on-Trent and South Wales-based firm is bolstering its existing 70-strong workforce by introducing 21 new roles across the business including data analysts, technicians and forensic case team officers – a role suited to those currently in a paralegal or legal administrative position. As SYTECH strives to upskill its workforce with best-in-class training regimes, the business is keen to hear from technically-minded people or those with a keen interest in IT and mobile phones, who are looking to progress in the industry.

Significantly, SYTECH has also announced firm ambitions to be gender-neutral in both technical and administrative roles. With a current ratio of 26:43 in what has been a predominantly male-dominated field, SYTECH is striving to increase the ratio to 38:48 by the end of 2024.

Further enhancing and improving employability across the UK, SYTECH engages in various social activities. Notably, Daren Greener, Managing Director at SYTECH is an active participant in the nationwide ‘Speakers for Schools’ programme. Working to inject passion into the state education system, Daren provides inspirational career talks to highlight university pathways and the diverse range of jobs in the sector, enabling young people to feel empowered about their future.

Daren Greener, Managing Director at SYTECH commented: “As the business continues to grow, we are proud to be flying the flag for social mobility with the creation of a vast range of high-aspirational career opportunities in areas once home to now declining labour-intensive industries. Although, we are still mining here at SYTECH however this time it’s for data, not coal! With continuous investment in training, we are well-versed in developing future leaders and delivering highly talented individuals into the digital forensics marketplace, something we look forward to building upon further as we welcome a new cohort of recruits.”
