Midlands-based business coaching franchise, ActionCOACH Loughborough, is reflecting on a year of success with key milestones reached and sights set on further growth.
Following a change in hands in spring 2021 and since taking ownership, managing director and leading UK coach, Matt Bull, has steered the company, strengthening the company’s portfolio and meeting significant growth targets.
ActionCOACH is the largest and most successful coaching business in the world, with franchises in more than 140 countries, and its mission is to support, guide and educate business owners – from start-ups to growing firms, as well as those looking to retire.
Despite challenges, following the aftermath of the pandemic, the business has remained strong and saw a significant surge in demand for its services – reaching 50 clients in its portfolio, with levels of interest from business owners continuing to rise.
To accommodate its growing team, ActionCOACH Loughborough, recently moved into a new, larger office premises, located in the heart of Loughborough town, much-needed space for the team to deliver coaching, training and seminars.
Members of the team also achieved personal growth goals, and business development executive Jake Kebble, who started through the government’s six-month Kickstarter scheme in 2021, has been promoted to head of membership development. Coach Kerry Malster was also promoted to membership manager, and is now managing all members, social events and ensuring the ActionCOACH Loughborough experience remains world-class.
This year Matt teamed up with his sister Rachael Bull to launch Engage & Grow Central Midlands. Engage & Grow is a global brand that focuses on re-engaging and re-energising workforces across the world, through bespoke group coaching programmes and workshops.
As well as growing its client base and team, to bring local coaching talent under one roof, ActionCOACH Loughborough will be launching a monthly peer to peer mastermind programme for leaders and executives, two-day mastermind retreats for business owners, and running its first overseas coaching retreat in Croatia.
The firm continues to put its ambitious growth plans into action and the team is working on delivering its five-year plan to help 500 clients by 2026.

“Following the pandemic, we have continued to adapt to the ever-evolving markets we service, with new offerings for a wider range of businesses across the region. We’re thrilled to have reached 50 clients within our portfolio and our ambitious growth plans will drive us to go above and beyond over the next five years.
“We’ve got an exciting year ahead of us, as we look to launch new programmes and retreats – setting our sights on Croatia – as well as this we’ll be launching a new training programme to help coach young entrepreneurs and inspire the next generation of business owners.
