Two Chimps Coffee are shortlisted in the Environmental Champion & Small Business of the Year Categories

Two Chimps Coffee Ltd is thrilled to announce that they’ve been shortlisted as a finalist for two categories at the 2024 Mercury Business Awards: Environmental Champion and Small Business of the Year.

“We’ve had an amazing few years,” says Two Chimps Co-Founder Laura Shead, “To even be shortlisted for these awards is an awesome feeling, particularly as it’s our local awards and we’ll get the chance to catch up with so many familiar faces on the night too!”

“When we launched back in 2016, we knew that climate change, sustainability and helping communities, both at home and abroad, were priorities for us,” remarks Laura, “even just being nominated for these awards shows that we’re definitely on the right track.”

The annual Rutland & Stamford Mercury Business Awards will be presented during a prestigious three-course meal in the beautiful surroundings of the Rutland Hall Hotel, on Friday 27th September.

2024 marks the 19th anniversary of the awards, making the ceremony one of the longest-established events of its kind across Stamford, Rutland, Bourne and the Deepings.

Since the beginning, the awards have honoured excellence in business and shone a light on the entrepreneurial spirit of the area; allowing all attendees to let their hair down to enjoy their achievements in the past 12 months.

“To gain nominations in two of the ten categories is a huge achievement for us, and it really highlights how hard the team have been working to elevate the brand to show the world what Two Chimps is all about,” Says Laura.
