BBC Radio Broadcaster, TV Presenter and MOBO award nominee Sandra Godley OBE joins a collaboration of women in business networks for their debut event The Great Women In Business Meetup, in Solihull, West Midlands, this March.

The brand new event to support female business owners and entrepreneurs occurs at the Village Hotel, Solihull on Friday 8th March 2024, on International Women’s Day, between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm.

This is a brand new business event concept that supports women in business to strengthen their resolve, and gain the additional networking knowledge necessary to successfully navigate the current challenging economic climate.

“This is a truly fantastic event and I can’t think of a more exciting time for women to come together and network on a higher level. I’d encourage every woman to come along, be included and inspired and get better connected on International Women’s Day.” Sandra Godley OBE

This unique and brand event concept brings together a collaboration of established and highly successful business networks: Socially Shared Business Network, Woman Who, Womens Business Network and The High Vibe Tribe.
These business leaders and network collaborators: Sandra Garlick MBE, Dawn Owen, Karen Heap and Sharon Louca, hold meetings across the West Midlands, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Staffordshire and Worcestershire, in both online and in-person formats.  The event brings together women from across these areas and beyond for an inspiring day to connect, enhance the results of their networking activity and celebrate their achievements.
“The business economy continues to be challenging, especially with the cost of living crisis. Building relationships and
growing your network has never been more important, and with the four of us as network leaders sharing this view, a collaborative event was an opportunity for us to make a real difference and help. This is not your typical networking event. People will leave having met everyone in the room and with a clearly defined strategy for getting a better return on their future networking activities”. Karen Heap

The Great Women in Business Meetup is also being supported by Cube Accounting Limited, a female led accountancy practice based in Rugby that serves businesses across the Midlands.

“When women in business come together there is a certain magic in the room. Women build relationships that last a lifetime and love to support each other, connect and refer business to each other. Each of our networks compliments rather than competes and we see this collaboration is an opportunity. Our collective input means that we will deliver an event like no other where attendees will walk away with new connections, opportunities to collaborate and a plan for their future networking to be with purpose.”  Sandra Garlick MBE
