Nottinghamshire-based HR, payroll, and finance software provider MHR is proud to announce the return of DisruptHR Nottingham on Wednesday 24th of April. DisruptHR is an information exchange designed to energise, inform and empower business leaders, especially those with an interest in talent, workplace culture and technology.

All proceeds from ticket sales are being donated to Improving Lives, a local charity that works with people living with mental health conditions in Nottinghamshire to reduce social isolation, improve physical and mental health, and increase independence and workplace wellbeing.

Hosted in the heart of Nottingham’s Creative Quarter, DisruptHR will bring together business and HR leaders from across the region to network and listen to insights from different speakers in a series of fast-paced presentations.

To counter endless PowerPoint presentation fatigue, the event boasts a unique format where speakers have five minutes to deliver their presentations, with slides rotating every 15 seconds.

Product pitches are completely banned – the event instead seeks to bring like-minded HR and business leaders together to share ideas and expertise. Free pizza will be provided during the evening, where attendees can network and share business insights.

Jeanette Wheeler, Chief HR Officer of MHR, said: “After a pandemic-induced hiatus, we are thrilled that DisruptHR Nottingham is back and ready for another event. Our aim is to connect some of the region’s finest businesses and HR professionals, in addition to sharing some of the most up-to-date, industry-defining insights.

“The event is also an opportunity for us to show our support for the important work that Improving Lives carry out in the local area. MHR is dedicated to promoting charitable causes and we hope the awareness and funds generated by the event will help to improve physical and mental health in Nottinghamshire.”
