Nottinghamshire-based HR, payroll, and finance software provider MHR announces a partnership with Improving Lives, a local charity which works with people living with mental health conditions in Nottinghamshire. The charity works to reduce social isolation, improve physical and mental health, and increase independence and workplace wellbeing.

MHR will work with Improving Lives to renovate their garden space. The graduate team at MHR will be helping with tasks including weeding patio seams and flowerbeds, to painting the surrounding benches. The new space will be unveiled at the end of the initial 5-week project. Alongside the garden project, proceeds from ticket sales to MHR’s DisruptHR event on 24 April are also being donated to Improving Lives.

In 2021, MHR took part in a similar initiative with Rainbows, a local Loughborough-based Hospice for children and young people, volunteering to refurbish their eco garden. The initiative and this latest project with Improving Lives reflect MHR’s commitment to strengthening its relationships within the local community and to actively investing in charitable endeavours and acts of community service.

Jessica Mills, Chairman of MHR, added: “Improving Lives carries out critical work to improve mental health within our local community and we are very happy to be supporting this charity. This is an extremely important issue for MHR and is part of our wider commitment to finding ways in which we can positively impact our community. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished renovated garden in all its glory”.
