West Midlands B2B finance connectivity specialist Finecta has kicked off 2023 by adding renowned international trade finance software platform Surecomp to its growing list of partners.

Harnessing the power of Finecta’s G2F data engine, Surecomp’s RIVO corporate customers will benefit from greater transparency of their liquidity and be empowered to serve a broader market, including SMEs.

Finecta’s G2F data engine’s secure and scalable connectivity with major accounting and ERP platforms enables B2B lenders to better understand borrower financial positions and make smarter loan application decisions.

Headquartered in Toronto, Surecomp delivers digital trade finance solutions geared towards streamlining transaction lifecycles to enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance and drive growth.

Surecomp’s London office is leading the integration with G2F, which was developed by Finecta in 2019 to give lenders the power to serve large volumes of corporate customers efficiently and cost effectively. G2F has also enabled Surecomp to eliminate borrower file uploads in favour of secure and scalable direct connections.

“We’re really pleased to be forming this new alliance with Finecta,” says Enno-Burghard Weitzel, Surecomp’s SVP of Strategy, Digitization and Business Development. “We are committed to making trade easier and more open by bringing everyone together on RIVO. Providing access to data is a key part of this across all aspects of the decision-making process.”

Andy Berti, CEO of Warwickshire-based Finecta, added: “We’re delighted to announce the partnership with Surecomp. As a global brand serving renowned financial institutions and corporations around the world, this is a very strong endorsement of G2F’s capabilities. So, we’re looking forward to seeing the results it delivers for their customers in the months ahead, particularly as we navigate this period of turbulence for small businesses, which will need much wider access to diverse finance products for the foreseeable future.”

Since its inception in 2019, Finecta has developed Gateway 2 Finance, a world class data engine, and is helping the likes of the Marco Polo Network, Nimbla and CommerceWorks. The business’ technology plugs into management and accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, Microsoft and Sage, providing lenders with access to real-time borrower data and SMEs with the tools and confidence to access and control invoice and trade finance.
