Businesses of all types and sizes are invited to the launch of a new networking group in Kirby Muxloe, Leicester this June.

FindaBiz Networking is moving into Kirby Muxloe with a new monthly meeting, to be held on the last Tuesday of every month at the Royal Oak pub.

It kicks off with a free launch event on Tuesday, June 28, from 6pm to 8pm, where businesses of all shapes, sizes and sectors are invited to come and find out more.

The group is being hosted by new FindaBiz franchisee and Leicester businessman, Kam Samji, who runs his own will writing firm, KRS Estate Planning, and Nicole Rusted, who works as an assistant in the firm.

Kam is a well-established networker who wanted to bring this relaxed, fun and highly effective model of networking to his local area.

Kam said: “I’ve been connected with FindaBiz through various business contacts for many years. I really enjoy networking in general – and the FindaBiz model in particular. Networking is also vital to the success of my own business, so when I saw the franchise opportunity, I knew I had to take it.

“There’s a strong networking scene in Leicester, but people are always keen for more; we’ve had more than 70 businesses registering for the launch event already.”

Kam qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and spent 16 years in private practice before setting up his firm, specialising in wills, probate and power of attorney.

KRS Estate Planning has been in the making for around five years, and really took off during the pandemic, when Kam could devote more time to building his brand and reputation.

In November, law student Nicole joined the team and is currently working in the business full-time, as well as partnering on the FindaBiz Networking franchise.

“The Royal Oak is a great venue and I’m really looking forward to meeting some new people and creating a real business community where we all support and promote each other. The launch event is open to all businesses, and there’ll be a warm welcome waiting for anyone who attends,” Kam added.

FindaBiz Networking Kirby Muxloe will be held on the last Tuesday of every month. And while the launch event is open to everyone, it operates a one seat per industry policy, so anyone who wants to join as a member is encouraged to get in touch and secure their place as soon as possible.

Kirby Muxloe is the seventh group in the rapidly growing FindaBiz Networking family with successful clubs operating in Tamworth, Nuneaton, Coventry East, Hinckley, Telford and Tonbridge, and more in the pipeline.

A friendly environment with no scary rules!

The ethos is all about providing a friendly and welcoming environment for local businesses to connect and grow – with a positive atmosphere and no scary rules.

FindaBiz Networking is run by mother and daughter team Amanda Bourne and Gemma Worthington. They said: “We are really excited to be launching in Kirby Muxloe as part of our nationwide roll-out of the FindaBiz franchise model.

“We’ve got several events every month, as well as national speed networking events, social meet ups and the opportunity for members to network across the whole FindaBiz community.

“We’re really looking forward to the Kirby Muxloe launch event and encourage businesses in the area to come along, meet Kam and Nicole and see what it’s all about.”

Businesses can find out more or register for the event on the FindaBiz Networking website. Light food and refreshments will be provided.
