Premium office fit out provider, Workspace Design, has partnered with telecoms and connectivity specialists, Prime Connect, to deliver on its aftercare promises.

Providing more than just spaces, the workplace construction and refurbishment firm prides itself on its fully comprehensive service, including everything from plumbing and electrics to furniture and design.

This end-to-end solution is key to its business model, with an experienced aftercare team dedicated to ensuring businesses flourish and settle into their new office spaces.

Recognising the central importance of high-speed internet in modern business, the team have partnered with Prime Connect to ensure their developments are ‘move-in ready’ with pre-connected fibre services.

At a recently refurbished premises on 33 George Street in central Manchester, Prime Connect’s high speed services will allow the office fit out provider to support client needs, with 27 fixed desks, a boardroom and two Zoom pods across the first of four 2,500-square-foot floors alone.

It’s not just new properties that benefit from this pre-connection, either. Prime Connect also installs state-of-the-art fibre services in heritage spaces – such as the Grade II listed building renovated at 22 St John Street, Manchester. Situated between Deansgate and Spinningfields, the 13 private office suites available benefit from top-of-the-range internet connections, despite the property being found on the only surviving Georgian terraced street in the city.

Speaking about the collaboration, Russell Davis, one of the Directors at Workspace Design, says: “Working with Prime Connect has ensured our developments are ready for busy tenants to move straight into. The internet is now a fourth utility, so we had to make sure it was readily available from day one. It’s much easier for us than dealing with Openreach and all the associated delays as well”.

David Barfield, another director at Workspace Design, confirms: “The guys at Prime Connect are so easy to work with and by pre-connecting our buildings with their services, we can ensure people can work from the get-go as soon as they move into our spaces. It’s a great way of making sure our offices fill up quickly and, in that sense, the partnership has been key to our business model.

Reliability is, of course, key here too. We wanted to work with a company with a proven track record of providing quality services and Prime Connect has shown that it can match our 17-years of industry experience with its seamless set-up, responsive service, advanced features, and transparent pricing”.

Underpinned by a team of telecoms specialists, Prime Connect has integrated advanced connectivity solutions into over 2 million SQFT of office space nationwide – with key locations including Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and London.

Established in 2004, Workspace Design is headquartered in Manchester, with offices in the Midlands and Yorkshire.
